then use vinegar ... contrary to what whatshisname says.. there is no difference between them ... at 10% in the garden ... none.. nothing.. nada ... there is no fert value.. imo ...

I looked to get ammonia at my regular grocery store. It's lemon scent, but who can be picky now? There was none. I then made a point to go to a larger grocery store I used to go to. I figured if they had it, I'd buy two bottles. As I approached the shelves, I saw one bottle. I dug in the back of the shelves and found another two. Bought all three.

It took me five weeks and three different stores to finally find baking powder.

It took five different visits to a home and garden store before we could get enough small interlocking stones to do a little raised garden. Seems like everyone is cleaning, baking and gardening! Frustrating!

I looked in early March and the store where I usually buy it had stopped carrying it. They said their customers wanted things like 409 and Fabuloso. So it's not all COVID-19's fault.

I will try vinegar, Ken, but you know that pickling season is right around corner. I hope I will not get vexed!!!

I always pick up ammonia at Menards. I think I bought 15 bottles this year. They had plenty. You may want to check the Menards or Home Depot near you.

One year I bought a 10 litre bottle of industrial ammonia and have never seen it since.It can be diluted really extensively compare to the groc store stuff you get in the cleaning supplies. I am down to only a cup or two and now I hoard it as I have never seen it again. Probably worked to well and sure was great for keeping the white clothes bright but slugs were not impressed by the stinky stuff

Check your dollar stores. This is where am getting mine.
