The home we are moving into has a large kitchen with a large eating area, as well as a formal dining room directly adjacent to the kitchen eating area. Having two kitchen tables next to each other does not seem aesthetically pleasing. If we were to put a kitchen table in the true kitchen, what are other uses for this formal dining room? I should add the “dining room” is also adjacent to the family room...so this are would be used as a main walk-through to get to the kitchen.
