Mostly seedlings on Wednesday

I spent too much time in the seedling bed this morning and didn't get many picture of named varieties. There were several nice seedlings blooming today.

Viva Pinata was looking pretty good after being lined out last year.

This is the first picture I have ever gotten of Morning Comes Electric. It's been here several years.

All the rest are seedlings. I guess we have the King and Queen of the seedling bed today. I couldn't choose between these two.

The first is Pineapple Bites X The Bride of Dracula. This is a two year old seedling, but I don't think it bloomed last year. As you might imagine, Bob loves it. So I guess this one is the king.

The queen is pink, a color I love. This is Bodacious Bite X (My Friend Mary Jane X Crimson Stories)

I rest, I guess, would be the royal court.

This one might be the dowager queen. It first bloomed in 2013. I love the flower, but the plant is not vigorous enough to introduce. We keep it and use it in hopes of getting its face on a more vigorous one. It is Fox Point X Randall the Runner. Unfortunately, it did not inherit any of Fox Point's vigor.

This is a sib to the one I posted yesterday. It's taller and, I believe, a bit darker. It is Burgundy Eye Shadow X Heavenly Tiger Tails.

We really like the color on this one. It is Heavenly Bengal Tiger X Ruby Storm.

This one is another in a series of red and white ones. This is Stellar Stitchery X (Empire of Dawn and Dusk X Ruby Lipstick. Unfortunately, it is not the most vigorous one, but probably the one with the best color.

The queen of the seedlings for me today is Burgundy Eye Shadow x Heavenly Tiger Tails. The color is scrumptious and if it’s bigger and taller than it’s sibling it’s got my vote. That is quite a set of choppers on the Pineapple Bites baby, I’m going to look up the parents to see what they look like.

Viva Pinata is lovely. It didnt' live long here. I like the seedling king because of the exceptionally large gold teeth on all petaloids. The Burgundy Eye Shadow seedling looks very velvety. I always like your red and white ones, and this one is no exception.

I do like the rich colors on your seedlings out of Burgundy Eye Shadow. I know in your climate it's sometimes hard to tell if they are colorfast in high heat, but if they were that would really be something for those dark colors........The Bengal Tiger seedling is attractive too........Maryl

Viva Pinata is so pretty. And wow, fabulous edge on the seedling king, love it!

Nancy, I really like Viva Pinata and the need one of those Burgandy Eye Shadow seedlings. I really really like them. Those colors!

I really like Viva Pinata, and today I gotta go with Bob, I like the King!

I think it is a hoot, my husband is a Bob too.

I also like Viva Pinata. Those are some pretty aggressive teeth on Pineapple Bites X The Bride of Dracula.

All the seedlings have a place in court but oh my the color on the Burgundy Eye Shadow seedling is tantalizing! Absolutely love it. Agree that Viva Pinata looks good-have often been tempted by it.

All the seedlings look great! I think the Heavenly Bengal Tiger X Ruby Storm one is my favorite, the colors look very striking.
