Volleyball and Diving

Hi All,

we are planning to put a pool in next summer. We are thinking of an L shape because we have the space. So we would have a 3.5 ft deep shallow end in the bottom of the L for volleyball and basketball and then a slope into the deep end of the L to 7-8 feet for diving/slide. Does that make sense or is there a better plan for our needs?

    That's a fine plan. Just be sure the deep end can accommodate a diving board. There are very measurements to abide by. The pool must be at least 7'6" to be a diving type pool whether or not a diving board is installed. Slides require a minimum of 5' of water at the entry point.

    Be certain the structural detail or the pool print reflects the proper measurements. Measurements from the back wall to the break must be conforming to the current requirement.
