Gap beside garage door

Hello! I just noticed this huge gap between my garage wall and door. What the heck? Can I fill this? What should I use? I’m not worried about water because the garage floor is slightly higher, but my garage stays hot and rodents can get in. Now I know why the cats always hang out there! Thanks in advance!
