Cradle of Bethlehem. this is a 2nd clump of it that started from 1 small fan that fell from the main plant. The main plant did not bloom last year, but grew well. This plant stll looks really small, but bloomed 1st.

For someone who is not a huge fan of yellow, you have some really pretty yellows going on there, lol!!! I think I am liking My Pet Dragon, too. Tuscawilla Tigress is one you cannot ignore, is it? I have it in a spot outside my kitchen window and enjoy its blooms. I like White Unto Harvest also. Lots of pretty blooms here!

Cameroon is a pretty clump and you can't ignore Concrete Blond. I like your Pet Dragon too.but Cradle of Bethlehem is my favorite today.

How did you get two of My Pet Dragon? I don't think mine has buds. I moved it in May, and I think that set it back. I love Concrete Blonde and Claudine's Charm. White Unto Harvest looks crisp and cool. Your Wild Irish is striking. I"ve heard that one can be splotchy, but yours looks pretty perfect.

Lots of pretty blooms! My favorites are Claudine's Charm (of course!) and My Pet Dragon.

Many pretty multiple bloom pics as are the singles. I always say the same thing that I am getting rid of a plant and then the following year it does so much better. Rain is a good thing.

Kate, I like yellows slightly more than I like oranges. And the color of Tuscawilla Tigress is the shade of orange I particularly dislike. But I make an exception of Tuscawilla Tigress, it gets a lot of attention and blooms well. Unless they are splotchy constantly, or distorted, I get rid of very few good bloomers!

Kay, I am liking Cradle of Bethlehem too, seems to have good habits too.

Debra, what can I say, I'm gooood! LOL. But then, I did not move mine in May either, that does set them back. The first year I had Wild Irish, it was splotchy. I get a bloom or 2 early in the season that are splotchy then it clears up. It is extra short this year though. And of yellows, which I am not fond, I don't like the bright bold yellow, but those are the ones that get the most attention. Sorta like the squeaky wheel, so I have a place for a few.

Thanks Laura, Claudine's Charm is always one of my favs, now that is the color combo I go for.

Julia, isn't it the truth, many have gotten a 2nd chance after a good year and are still here.

Getting a good rain today. Leaving me bored and stuck inside. I go outside and sit on the porch looking out at the flowers. And the traffic go by....

Lots of great purples: Cameroons, Claudine's Charm, & Newberry Blue Eyes, I always like Chance Encounter. I didn't even notice that you posted yellows til Kate mentioned them. I flew past them without even noticing them!. LOL. I have Tuscawilla Tigress for the same reason. It is not a favorite type of orange. My orange and my yellow collections have dwindled thru the years.

Nancy - I'm not overly fond of yellows either. A little yellow goes a long way with me, but I like the few yellows I do have. Yesterday I noticed how beautiful some of those yellows looked with purples. So I may add a couple more since they seem to make the purples pop.

Never heard of Victoriana, so pretty. Great pic of Concrete Blond, so big and so yellow. I love the look of Cradle of Bethlehem, Claudine's Charm and Cameroons with those sepals. And my fave today is My Pet Dragon :)

Brad, I am just surprised at how much I am liking Newberry Blue Eyes this year. I really need to whittle some out, but when they bloom I have a hard time kicking them out.

Debra, I agree about making yellow making others pop. I have had a "white" garden with just cream/white/pale yellow daylilies. I think I am going to work on that area when it gets repaired, and move some colors in and creams out.

Nat, Victoriana is really a good plant, capable of really good branching, tall, pretty large flowers and plenty of bloom. Blooms always look nice too. I was out looking at My Pet Dragon again today, still really liking it!

Nancy, looks like I somehow missed this post, darn! I’m a fan of Newberry Blue Eyes, such nice color and a midrib. You have two of my favorites here, Claudine’s Charm and Sailor Sky. I agree with you, I love the color on Sailor Sky but is so hard to capture correctly with a photo, that goes for Purple Maze here too. In fact peach / coral in general are difficult to capture.
