We are working on updating this little space in our house. Generally, we are clean-lines (not at all ornate), transitional - think RH without that price tag.

• We need a larger six-person table (definitely not glass top - ugh), but can't agree on the style. Spouse likes the idea of a rectangular table, I'm not sure. I'm worried about the furniture being too "heavy" for the space.

• There are two larger windows we want to cover - one is about 104". I REALLY don't like cellular shades, but am not sure if roller shades will work.

Not sure how to explain other than I don't want the window treatments to look cheap. We will leave them uncovered most of the time and want to keep them as unblocked as possible (no shutters).

Any input would be greatly appreciated!
