The recent thread with pics of Dan Wol's seedlings prompted me to do some searching. He has a Facebook page but I'm not a Facebooker. He sells a bunch through Naylor Creek Nursery, which is the first nursery I ever mail ordered from 25 years ago. Their invoices were always hand signed "Gary & Jack" and on the Hosta Library they were The Boyz. Superb customer service over the years.

I was extremely saddened to read the note that preceds the .pdf online catalog.

"Naylor Creek Hosta catalog during the season 2020 Over the last 30 years Naylor Creek Nursery has had some rough times but 2019 has proven to be the greatest threat to our existence! Jack has fallen into the raptures of dementia and I will carry on alone with the nursery adding some helpers and do my best to care for Jack at home. I must mention that I still get lots of support from Snickers the dog, Blackberry the cat and Midnight and Cyclone, the mom and son goat duo! We are strictly mail order and cannot accommodate visitors to the nursery as time is always short! Please use the website to meet your hosta needs...I do try to answer a call but it will probably come after a message has been left...emails are more than welcome and I do attempt to answer them the same day. We no longer do a print catalog but there is a pdf button on the home page that will allow you to print the website in a very usable form with photos and descriptions. For 2020 we have many hosta new introductions from our group of hybridizers...Jeff Moore, Dan Wols, Don Dean, Jim & Meg Dalton, Viktoria Serafin, Trudy Van Wyk and several others...also all of our partners in Europe...the Fransens, Jan Van den Top and a whole host of folks in Belgium through the efforts of Danny Van Eechaute. We feel we are working closely with many of the most serious folks who spend half their lives involved in the creation of exciting new hostas. We continue to grow mainly tissue-cultured hostas as this allows us to bring production to market at a reasonable price and maintain adequate supplies. Also, tissue-culture aids in the attempt to assure we are providing disease free plants. We are doing more dividing these days so we can continue to supply older varieties. We, and our suppliers, are testing old and new stocks on a regular basis in the hope of accomplishing this goal.
