If you aren't willing to change the towels or shower curtain then I would find a fabric with all the colors of the rug in it and have a roman shade made for the window.

Because your bathroom appears gray and your counter looks beige, you may want to consider painting the walls, replacing the counter, or both.
The rug offers you a complete palette of colors to choose from. Select two of the colors and buy a set of towels, shower curtain and window treatment in both colors. Towels don’t come in every color, so I would suggest Bed, Bath and Beyond, Kohl’s, Target: they have a pretty good selection.

It looks like you have a fairly good sized vanity - so perhaps you can get rid of the cabinet above the toilet? Instead, add a large piece of art, a roman shade at the window, and fluffy white towels and rug.

Funny you should say that about the cabinet. I literally only have bathroom spray in there and nothing in the vanity at all!
