That was IMO a wrong place for the garage since kitchens really need natural light . Can we at least see the whole space and also how this was handled outside. Personally I would have had that removed since now it will always look weird and as an afterthought.

I would take the window out, sheetrock the area to be flush with existing sheetrock, retile, and add a nice piece of artwork. The window will always look awkward in that spot now so removal seems the only viable option.

I would remove the window. Once lived in a rental with windowless kitchen sink, thought I’d hate it but ended up liking it a lot. Add lighting and something arty.
