reliable rebloomer daylilies for the north

Hi,

I was wondering if others want to share which "rebloomers" actually rebloom for them in the more northern parts - I'm 4B. For me so far these are limited to Stella d'oro, Happy Returns, Stella Supreme, and May May. May May actually puts out a second scape before the first scape on that fan has opened it's first bloom. It's a smaller flower and a little tall for such a small flower, but she's a real workhorse and a nice soft yellow

I don't know how it would do where you are, but here Stella's Ruffled Fingers blooms almost all summer. It started blooming early June, put out a couple instant rebloom scapes and before it bloomed out, more rebloom scapes that should start up in a day or so.

In my yard only Stella and Happy Returns do rebloom. As in stop and then bloom again later. So nothing to rec sorry. But I have several with instant rebloom or rather double scaping, like your May May, and majority of them are my seedlings :)

Nancy 6b sounds promising. Nat4B. I'm in the same zone as you. Very curious about the parentage of your instant rebloom or double scapers. I find this fascinating as I've never seen it happen on anything but May May, and she'll also rebloom a bit now and then

Several from Emmerich daylilies (so hers have double scaping too). Several out of my very first seedling which is unfortunately unknown, but the most reliable double scaper. So - it's easy to get this trait in your seedlings.

Only Stella reblooms for me, but most of my daylilies bloom for a long time in the summer. This summer was different, i think because of the heat and humidity.

I agree with Nancy. Stella's Ruffled Fingers put up 4 sets of scapes for us this year. We are, however, in zone 6a so I don't know if it would do that for you in your zone.
