Damage to limelight hydrangea bark

Hi all,


I foolishly managed to run my lawn mower into the trunk of my hydrangea tree this afternoon, and stripped bark covering perhaps 30% of the circumference of the trunk. Photos below. It stands about 1.5m tall.


Do you think the tree is done for, or is there anything I can do to save it?
