We have Carrara Marble on our bathroom floors and vanity. With busy lives and 2 kids later, we haven't re-sealed them since installation about 5 years ago. None are super damaged or anything as we make sure to clean things that stain right away. I would like to seal it again, specially now that we are not cleaning as often because we are busy with work and kids at home.

If there are little spots here and there that were not cleaned well, or maybe a stain that could be removed with polishing or something, and I seal on top, will it be locking those spots/stains forever, or would I still be able to try to remove in the future when I have more time?

Basically, do we need to make it sure it's as clean as possible before sealing?

I bought this cleaner and sealer, but not sure if it even seals like a dedicated sealer does.
