Spots on Hosta plants. what should I do to encourage healthy growth?

water properly and deeply ... and maybe move it to more shade ...

its sunburned.. and then secondary things come along ... no use to solve the secondary issues.. if you dont address the primary problem ...

if you want to spruce it up.. just rip out some of the ugly leaves ...

welcome to the forums... if you could actually make a user name.. it would help us remember you .. and add location to that info ...

where are you.... and how hot has it been for how long.. and you probably have your answer ...

If you go into your account you will be able to create a handle of your choosing and many of us incorporate the growing zone we are in and a general location. The reason for this is if you live in Z5 like Ken, his weather is very different than someone in Z5 who is In Colorado. Welcome to the forum.

your pic looks sunny..I'm wondering if the rocks are generating and reflecting heat??..my hostas are in shade and mulched with compost and my leaves are fine..
