Meyer lemon overwatered?

Bought a 5 gallon dwarf meyer lemon and planted in the ground about a month ago. Bottom leaves starting to turn yellow and buds dropping off. Been watering every 2 days. Am i overwatering or is this the normal cycle of leaves? Live in los angeles, weather has been in the 90's. Picture below.

The yellow leaves are just old leaves. The life span of a citrus leaf is approximately 18 months. Before discarding a leaf that no longer fulfills what is expected of it the tree removes all its nutrients to be reused by the tree, nothing is wasted. This is why the leaf becomes yellow. Nothing to concern your self with.
