I have some more first bloomers this week. Reindeer Antlers had first bloom yesterday, this is in my top couple reds.

Fresh Look had first bloom today. It’s a nice pink on this double.

Happy Apache had first blooms this week. It’s amazing how different each bloom can be on the same day.

Tiger Swirls was added last fall. Had First bloom this week.

Stone Palace Divine had first blooms yesterday.

Night Ember had first blooms yesterday. It’s going to have a good season.

Wow Reindeer Antlers is such a beautiful red! What's your second top red? I like the looks of Happy Apache. Very Interesting. Night Embers is a pretty double. I have a similar one and when there are several of them from a distance they look like roses.

Reindeer Antlers is my pick today. We added it last fall and ours is blooming too. Happy Apache is my other pick. What a unique daylily!

I really like Reindeer Antlers. Mine is still blooming and has been for a long time. It is such a rich deep red. Happy Apache always looks good for you.

I left a comment earlier, but I don't see it. Happy Apache is my favorite. Thanks for posting two photos of it. I also like Stone Palace Divine and Night Embers.

Just for fun, here is the first bloom on Happy Apache earlier in the week, no splotches, just paler and not very attractive

Sherry: Love the Reindeer Antlers pic. Intense red and the form is perfect. Does it retain the intense color after a full day in the sun?

Sherry: I do like the colors on Happy Apache in your 2nd set of pictures. Very bright and attractive.....Those are just two almost perfect little double blooms on Night Embers. I may have to try it some day.........Reindeer Antlers looks so vibrant in your photo. It is pretty colorfast here in my heat, but the color does change when it gets into the high 90's for me. It goes to a much darker shade of red. I'd rather have that then bleaching out by a long shot.............Maryl

Julia, here in 5a it holds up all day, no changes in color last season. This is its second bloom season here, color and substance lasted the whole day with the few blooms so far this summer.

My favorite is Reindeer Antlers too. Photos here made me get it last fall, you wicked people! It had its last blooms yesterday, and had a good 1st year. It did not bloom that long, but had several blooms every day.
