IMO then you send back the 3 . If you did not receive all the items they should be returnable . BTW IMO that mirror nees to go unless of course you love seeing the kitchen mess twice and I would look for a larger table too IMO that one seat 2 not 4 . Hang the art lower and get another nice large piece for the DR wall I would also move the display cabinet shelving to the back wall in the LR and move the LR furniture a little toward the DR that will make the dining space feel a bit larger Then put a narrow buffet there with the new art above it

Hi. Before you make any more decisions, you are right....you need to get the furniture arrangement down.

Could you please post a photo of the wall to the right of the chaise sofa? Is that a door?

The table does not fit four. It is appropriate for 2. If we can rearrange the furniture and get a different shaped table, this could work.

How many do you need to sit at the table?

Just a thought. Can you sell the set and start fresh as it’s a small table for four especially as it’s your only table, feels overwhelmed by the mirror and lost in the space. I believe you may have room for a rectangle table. If more space was needed, maybe move shelving to where mirror is or back wall if you moved up sectional and add artwork in dining room instead - see below for dining set idea and set up and experiment with vertical or horizontal placement

If you are keeping table, chair ideas below, but your budget will have a big influence

The company should probably send another chair? I think your table could be a bit larger.

If you really want to just get more chairs - I think something like this may work with what you have and add a bit of texture/visual interest. I would do two of them. They come in a set. And you could use 1 of your other chairs somewhere else.

Thanks. Is there a door by the sofa or is that just a window?

Can you replace the table with something a bit larger? Are you ok with replacing the mirror with art? It feels (to me) overwhelming and sort of out of place.

    Is a window.

Reason I ask about the door is I am thinking that you could turn around the sofa and place the tv on the wall where the art is now.

A linear table would work a lot better in your space.

Overall, there are way too may items in your space....too many small, clutterly decor items.

a 60 inch x 30 inch parsons dining table would work well in your space.

Sorry, is a sliding door. So I could not move the sofa there. 😔

Are you referring to the decor items that I have on the shelving and the TV unit?

Paola, this is a sliding door.....correct? Why do you have it blocked?

Why not turn the sofa to face the wall with the art? Then your sofa is not blocking the door and you can see out the slider?

Try it and see if you like it.

Yes......just way to many items. Don't worry about that now.....just get the furniture arrangement correct.

I’m not sure what you mean. Move the sofa were the tv unit is?

Leave your sofa where it is. Don’t move it around and float it. The sofa placement you have now is better from Feng Shui perspective. Leave the sofa on the wall where it is. Just lower your art a bit. The art over the sofa could be lower.

    This is the option

I have access to the sliding door

Okay. Looks like there is not much to see out there.

Recommend taking your 3 chair and a 4th from the bar. Place them in a configuration, pretending you have a 30 x 60 table. See how you like that.

Can you use the shelves in another room?

Sorry, but can you send a picture? The chairs from the bar are too high for the dining table.

Remove the round table. Set your 3 chairs up as if there is a rectangular table there. you will have to pretend on the 4th chair and the table .

    Ohhh ok! Got it! Thanks!

Cpuld not move the table, it was too heavy. But. I think that a 30x60 table would be good

I would change the table to a rectangle and get four new chairs. Remove the mirror and add colourful art.

Still looks very close. You need a minimum of 36" between the table and the next object.

If you want to pull out the bar and dining chairs at the same time, double that.

I start every design with a floor plan.

I don't know enough about how you live......but you might consider this:

-a dining table that pulls up to the back of your sofa (would have to rearrange your sofa)

-an adjustable height coffee table......you can adjust the height of the coffee table so that it serves as a coffee table and a dining table.

Both options would give you more space in your room, which is tight on space.
