It’s a sad day for me

A year ago,we had to let our cat Braveheart cross the rainbow bridge. He was was born outside but he took to us and we cared for him for 14 years. He was a very sweet boy. It’s was during a terrible storm, just like today. He always hid under the deck during storms and I was outside trying to coax him in to no avail. About ten minutes later he walked in crying and soaked to the bone. He had been a 12 pound cat and in six months he lost 7 pounds. I scooped him up in a blanket and we drove right to the vet. When one of my cats passes, I bury part of their ashes in the yard with a marker, a plaque, a little statue......this time I purchased a hosta, Eternal Flame. To you Braveheart! I will see you when I cross the bridge,

    Oh Debra I could cry. We soft hearted animal lovers suffer so much with every loss. I miss every animal I have ever lost no matter how long ago. I send you virtual hugs.
