I have a vitex tree that seems to be struggling. It started new leaf growth in Spring and looked healthy. Come May and new growth stopped and it did not bloom. It now has some new growth that is deformed and all but a few shoots are stunted. I am having the same issue with a Lantana planted in front of it. What can cause this? I had a trumpet vine that had vigorous dwarfed growth similarly a few year ago that eventually died. I did give a small dose of osmocote to the lantana in early spring but I dont think the Vitex was fed. Could this be a water issue? nitrogen? pest? Advice needed
