There is one very active Pro in the Houzz forums in particular who uses a lot of DuraSupreme in her business and recommends them, and she is very knowledgeable on all aspects of design so you have to respect her experience with the company. I believe there are different levels of cabinetry within DuraSupreme which could definitely impact your end experience with them. I too saw plenty of negative reviews about DuraSupreme in my research for my own remodel and crossed off this brand just because I didn't want to risk a bunch of money for a possible nightmare. There are too many other good companies out there to mess around with those that have mixed reviews, in my opinion. It also seems to me that DuraSupreme may have gotten better reviews in the past than they have recently, and it's not uncommon for companies to change practices or have service decline from time to time.

I have found great recent reviews and showroom displays (in 2019 and 2020) for the following companies: Jay Rambo, Harmoni/Bentwood, Plato Woodworking, and William Ohs. All those companies have lower-priced lines that could be an entry-level product if you're on a budget. Also, you might research your local area specifically for a great manufacturer that might be near you to save shipping costs.
