Absolutely not in my opinion. You typically want a garage door to blend in, not be a focal point.

Good point, millworkman, although my white garage door doesn't exactly "blend in" with my mint-green house as it is. The film WOULD make it more of a focal point, though, even if it made it less ugly.

I think it would look out of place and, given the windows are so small, it might not even be clear what the pattern is. If you do want to obscure the view a little, go with a matte frosted look instead. I'd just leave them be, personally. I don't see the garage's front as ugly - it's just looks like a garage. You can't hide that.

I agree. I’m always opposed to anything that’s obviously fake, e.g. stained-glass-look film. Everybody’s going to realize you don’t have stained glass windows in your garage.

Just plain light-impairing film would be ok if you don’t want people looking in.

Your house is pretty and appears very well kept.
