If the pool is in the backyard, then partition the backyard from the front yard with a tall fence. I’d go 5’ minimum, and make it solid, so the pool isn’t visible from the front.

That is another option. We are trying not to add another fence because we do not want to break up the property. Just fence around the perimeter of the house - which exists - but one side needs to be made compliant.

For starters, we should see how everything is arranged and relates to each other, which would require an overhead view. Maybe you can create it from Google Satelllite view ...? You can open the picture in MS Paint and use the "Polygon" tool (looks like outline of an L) or one of the other line tools to draw in the fence and pool location.

Having a perimeter fence does not necessarily protect you from pool liabilities. If there are gatherings where small children attend and can access the pool, while adults are distracted, there is potential danger. For example, a party is going on inside while a child slips out the back door. These type things happen every year.
