Cleaning Tips Bathrooms

Im interested in having shelves under the floating wash basin and I’m not sure about which wood would be the best option to sustain water and also if it is an issue when it comes to cleaning since it is open and dust accumulates. What’s are your thoughts and experiences?

In such a clean, modern bathroom, I prefer the frameless style, particularly if the mirror is the door for the medicine cabinet. I have something similar in mine and have a small piece of L-molding that projects down about 1/4" below to provide a grip to open the cabinet door. Much better than drilling the mirror for a knob. Any frame would have to be very minimal to avoid interference problems with the edge hitting the wall when opening the door (unless you used European offset hinges).
