I would avoid patterns / colors on drapery. Slightly darker than the wall color would be nice.

Are you looking for ready made or custom? A good interior designer will have access to great fabrics. A picture of the room would be helpful

I have similar thoughts as Maureen. A linen type fabric with an option for trim if you feel the need that could even be sewn onto a store bought drape if you wish. Something that melts into the walls but has a quiet elegance.

Here is a picture of the living room. As I am stuck indoors due to Covid, trying to work on the house. Since the walls are so neutral, I was looking for color. As a FYI, the carpet will be changed out to the wood tiles (grey tones) that I have in my kitchen and entry way.

Ivory with a band of color. Can provide more suggestions if you have a photo of the room with the rug in it.

Thanks! I may have some made to get what I really want. For the time being I am getting some neutral ivory linen curtains with lace trim as I currently have some drapes from the prior homeowner which are very dated and not the look I am seeking...

I am still using the red area rug which is currently on top of a light colored carpet that I will be having removed at some point after COVID goes on vacation or to another planet!
