I have a different stairway problem. My exterior steps come to a small landing and face a wall, the front door is to the left. I put a mirror on the wall to reflect the energy. So far so good, it's been a very happy home for the past 15 years! Good energy is not blocked by smacking into a wall, but is redirected to the door.

The sliding screen sounds cool but I agree, expensive. Hope I didn't confuse you with the mirror description. The idea is to put a mirror on the wall beside the door on inside wall. When you look in the mirror, you should be able to see the stairway behind you. This option isn't expensive at all. It doesn't even have to be a large mirror, as long as it reflects the stairs. Or maybe that was clear, sorry for over explaining if it was. :-)

No, no. It was clear, but I ha a window there, although it is not operable.

I saw this sort of treatment with a mirror in the window at a Parade of Homes once. Maybe an interesting mirror in the window. Something more decorative than this but you get the idea.

Hi Stefania - before you worry too much, are the stairs directly aligned with the door or off to the side? Are all of the bedrooms upstairs? If offices and active spaces are upstairs it's good that some energy is flowing up towards them. Consider floormats also when redirecting energy. It's also useful to check flying star for your home, maybe it's good energy flowing up. Depending on what's happening around the staircase you could use a mirror in another area to pull energy in - would want to have a good star there.
