Found a sport ...

I don't know the name of the mother plant, it's a smaller leaf variety that is more yellow than what is shown here, anyone have a guess on what it might possibly be, it's not a real recent introduction.

Sport has three crowns, now separated and potted up, sure is different from mom! I love the unusual center pattern set upon a rather dark green leaf, should be an eyecatcher as it develops in the years to come!

Nice new sport! It looks like the original plant might be Rainforest Sunrise. The sport is quite adorable. And yes, please do update us next year with pictures.

BINGO, yes, it's 'Rainforest Sunrise', I should have recalled that, though I was eyeing a nearby hosta thinking that's what it was instead!

It's always interesting when sports are so extremely different so as to have no resemblance to mom!

one of my 3 Rainforest Sunrise has reverting leaves..solid green..nothing fancy like yours..an old pic..haven't checked it lately..it looked the same the last time I noticed it..

NW, your RFS sported, too. RFS comes from Maui Buttercups, which is all yellow. Your solid green leaves thus represent a sport named Blue Maui. Here is the information from Fransen's Hosta Paradise site:

I just took these pics..a front and a back view..the back looks towards the light..I think the multi sported leaf in the above pic is now a solid..I'm letting it be..I like Blue Maui..
