We have a kitchen table with a smooth, slick feeling surface on it but in areas it feels sticky. When you wipe it clean you can feel the rag or paper towel dragging across it instead of smoothly moving like in other areas. For example, it has an expansion section which is smooth feeling while there are areas of the regular table which feeling sticky or tacky when damp and just a bit sticky when dry. The table is clean but I can’t figure how to get that sticky feeling off in areas. I am not sure what the surface of the table is. Any ideas? I don’t see how to post pictures or I would send one.
