Please help with Coneflower

I recently had to pull up coneflowers because several had aster yellows. Just bought these a week ago and havent planted them because i want to make sure they were health. Today I noticed this,please tell me its mites and not aster yellows! Its almost like one side is way behind other in blooming.

After looking at all of the potted ones I bout I'm wondering if it could be from the sun they are getting. There are a couple doing the same thing and the sides that are smaller are on the side that is towards the house . they only get sun in late afternoon and its on the sides that are longer. Maybe I'm wrong but I'm hoping, so I turned them around. Its strange that the ones that are now starting to bloom are doing it all on same side. Any thoughts?

Don’t have a real explanation except to say that coneflowers are best grown in sun.

Yes! I do plan on putting them in full sun. Didn't want them sitting in full sun in the pots because they were drying out really quick. O was trying to wait for all the blooms to open to make sure they didn't have yellows disease.
