The tile is starting to fail in our 1957 bathroom tub, so we are thinking of redoing it. As much as I hate to rip out vintage, I don’t love the brown enough to try to save it, and the vanity has no storage and has seen better days too.

This is the primary bath used by my husband and 8 year old as well as guests. We are thinking of replacing the tub with a walk in shower as we have space for a third bathroom with tub downstairs. This room is located over an unfinished basement so we could change the footprint, but not sure it gains us anything. Open to ideas.

Also thinking of doing the sink offset to gain storage. Bad idea? Vanity will be custom in maple by Kerf and hubby wants heated towel bars. Still thinking about tile etc. and open to ideas. I like Heath mural in rhythm color, maybe as an accent, (but not sure where), will post picture in comments.
