Exterior Help - Modernization

Hello! I’m sure this is going to be my first post of many, so here it goes.

Right before COVID hit I bought my first home at 20! It is a 1980’s 2 bed 2 bath ranch, with a super cool (imo) layout. I loved it because I saw past the ugly 80’s decor and hoped that I could do something with the layout. I bought it in hopes of renovating it as I can, while I save up money. I’d say my style is industrial/minimalist and that is what I am going to be going for for this house.

First project is the exterior as the paint is in a dire need of an update. The house has an almost crescent moon shape with some pretty cool angles.

For paint I think I have decided on Caviar by Sherwin Williams. Contenders were Iron Ore and Tricorn Black by SW.
I am hoping by painting the house black it will give me the modern look I am going for. Caviar was not as in your face as Tricorn Black, which is why I am leaning more towards that.

For trim, gutters, etc. it will be the same as the siding. My only concern is the windows. I have old vinyl clad Anderson windows in a brownish sand color. Has anyone painted their similar windows? Ideally it needs to match the rest of the house, but I don’t have the budget to go on and replace all the windows.

Planter box in the front to cut the black I am thinking of refacing with a light wood plank.

I am lost to the walkway fencing/ downspout support. I need a modern way to achieve this and I am lost. Any recommendations would be super helpful! Is there a way I could even just get rid of it?

Attached are photos of the house and some inspiration photos.

Any recommendations or tips is greatly appreciated!
