What's eating my tomato plants?

Hi, i have a tomato plant that was doing amazing. Growing so much and with a lot of fruit. Then I started noticing tiny holes on my tomato plants and saw a few little worms that I think are cabbage loopers. I saw eggs a few weeks ago and took them all off, I also started removing the little worms until I got them all off.
It is very tricky but since I only have one plant I stood there for like an hour . I still see every now and then but they are never that large.
Anyway, today I noticed the leaves completely destroyed. Many of the outer leaves totally chewed up.
I assumed it was the worms but inspected again and only saw 2 little ones but not any full frown ones and believe me I looked every single leave.
What I did see was a bit of bird poop (there are a lot of birds on my yard at all times). I don't suspect any other animal since there really is no wildlife where I live. Is it possible that the birds are destroying it? I saw a lot of leaves on top of the soil, I thought maybe they were trying to eat little worms they saw and ended up having a field trip on my leaves.
Sorry I made it so long but I was very sad when I saw my plant today:(
