Who did you hire to hang your wallpaper? Grasscloth needs to be hung with every other sheet reversed, so that the edges meet like edges. In other words, first sheet right side up, next one upside down, third right side up, and so on.

but...your edges shouldn’t be brown. Years ago most wallpapers needed to have their edges trimmed before hanging. Did you see the hanging instructions? I would take any leftover roll(s) into the place where you purchased your wallpaper.

I had a professional hang the wallpaper. I think she did a great job hanging it. It’s just the edges don’t look right to me.

I don’t see brown, just the usual variation that comes with real grasscloth. It appears to be very well installed. It’s a beautiful , light color which does highlight the the color variations but this is a natural product so this should be expected. Lovely drapes btw. I hope you have come to embrace this by now. Hanging art,etc will help the look.
