I inherited a beautiful Waterford chandelier that I'd love to use in my dining room, but according to everything I read online, it's too large.

Dining room: 14 ft x 16 ft
Dining table: 92 inches (extends with leaves to 108 inches) x 42 inches, with 8 chairs
The room also has a large area rug that fills it nicely. The walls have paintings on them.

Inherited chandelier is 38 inches in diameter, 36 inches in height. My ceilings are 9 ft.

Is the chandelier too large? Thank you!
