Is privacy possible in our new apartment?

So we have just moved in and would like some privacy in our living area. However the doors are floor to ceiling as pictured below. The doors open inwards. Is it possible to fit blinds or curtains in our apartment?

Any help would be appreciated !!

The curtains would be easy. Measure the height of the windows. Measure the width of each pair of windows.
Because you have a wall on one side and the fireplace on the other side of each pair of windows, you can use
tension rods. They hold themselves in place and you won’t need screws or anything but two tension rods.
JCPenney has a decent selection of ready-made sheers, curtains and drapes in different lengths. They also
have rods. You want curtains slightly longer than the measurement from just above the window to the floor.
The width of the curtains should be two to three times the width of each pair of windows for fullness and privacy
if you use semi-sheers. Take the measurements with you. The salespeople there will be able to help you select
the right tension rods and curtains. Installation is easy. Make sure the curtains just clear the floor...no puddling.

PRIVACY?? From what and from whom? I doubt anyone is gazing in with binoculars, even at night with lights on. Mount billowy sheers at the ceiling,. or shirr on tension rods. : ) Me? I say stop looking kiddo, nothing to SEE here, and if you don't cut it out? ........

I actually did that to a neighbor who was fascinated by me......screamed it out my window. Problem solved: ) Scared the hell out of him.

It looks like you only need privacy for the lower half? I might consider window film. Maybe only for the lower part. Blossom and Brush is one company that will make custom sizes. not perfect privacy but there are options for more or less screening and some light remains. You can also buy cheaper films from Home Depot and cut to fit

Jan, it is just a feeling that you are on display, especially at night. And yes, there are weirdos who use binoculars.

i like the curtain idea. You might see if you can get roller shades as well.

Jan must be a wonderful neighbor! Just because YOU don't like curtains or see the need for privacy doesn't mean you should force your opinion on the OP. The OP's question concerns them, not yourself. In that space, I like the curtain idea the best because it adds some softness.

What a lovely room! Can you add trees to the left like you have on the right? Can you do bottom to top shades that enable you to keep the light from the upper part of the door?
