Previous owners of this house fed hummingbirds. Two feeders--one in front and one in back. So I put two out this Spring and hoped we would see some tiny flying jewels. Well, we now have five feeders out. I made a gallon of nectar three days ago and had to make another gallon at midnight last night. Does anyone know, or could anyone tell me where, I might find information on approximately how many hummers we are feeding? A long time ago an article appeared in the Columbus, Ohio newspaper stating that if you count the hummers you see, multiply that number by four and that is about how many you really have. Any comments? And thank you!
