Limelight Hydrangea Help

My Limelight has been getting larger and larger each season. It's about 3-4 years old. I love the flowers, but I know everyone has heard this before, I hate that it flops! I've made sure to not severely cut back this plant because most say its good to allow the stems to get thicker so it can hold up the blooms better. I've been doing that, and the blooms are smaller as a result, but the bush as a whole still flops. I wish it could just look a little neater. What would you recommend to make this look more polished and not flopping so much? I've heard so many varied possibilities and I'm not sure what to do next. I've seen some people trim the bottom part to make it more tree like. Would that be a possibility?

Thanks so much for your help.
