So we recently purchased this home, built in 1920s with many additions/ renos over the years. in two of the bedrooms on the original part of the house there is this ceiling tile, and we aren't sure if it contains asbestos, but we were planning on not disturbing it. however now there's been a roof leak (of course we planned to replace the roof in a couple weeks and then this happens! erg!) so now we probably need to remove the tile. It doesn't feel hard, and it is showing negative on lead. I know there were some renovations to the house in the late 1980s and I don't know if it was added then or earlier.

If anyone has any insight I'd appreciate it. I know the only real way to know if it is asbestos is to have it tested and we will..
