Get your lamps, lighting and accessories in place....you may not need anything on that wall since it is a walkway. Also, isn't your TV a little high to watch comfortably from the couch?

I like the direction that you are going. Try to find something that is personal to your story, maybe cities that you've been to? Maybe maps of their transit system, prints of vintage luggage tags, I did that for my adult son's room to all the countries he has visited it ended up looking great. I have also seen amazing nostalgic insect and butterfly prints framed, they look cool and unexpected. I also did a grid of sketched trees in my home, I live in the woods so it was complimentary. I did 3 over 3. I always feel like art should be personal and tell part of your story. I am about to do a grid of intaglios above my headboard, since I love European travel. Would add wainscoting the same white as your trim colors and then you might consider an accent wall color above. If you add anything for purely decorative purposes, then, because this is a high traffic walk path, consider something not breakable if bumped and knocked off the wall either in lieu of or in addition to wainscoting -- perhaps even a mural:

To answer erinsean, yeah the TV is a little high. It has to be a certain clearance above the fireplace. We’re planning on putting a non-combustible mantel above the fireplace eventually. It’s not the most comfortable, but it works. We just sink into the couch if we’re watching TV. No other option on where to place it.
