However, initial thoughts are: move the coffee maker to the left corner so that the cable is mostly hidden behind it; put out a few coordinated mugs or cups, including one with teaspoons or stirrers, perhaps on a tray. The jar looks as though it contains dog biscuits; if so, replace them with cookies (and apologies if they are cookies).

It is too small to be both a coffee and bar area, so I think it needs to be one or the other. That's not to say you can't put the coffee things away and replace them with glasses and bottles in the evening (or afternoon - I'm not one to judge). A bar prep area might have a small chopping board and knife with lemons and limes handy. Some napkins might be useful and could be decorative.

Getting it nice is the creative part, but first think about what people need when they get coffee. Coffee pot, cups, milk and/or sugar or sweetener according to taste, a spoon, filters and coffee if they are thoughtful enough to refill the machine when its empty.

Move the coffee pot to the left and try to hide the cord behind it. Add a tray on the right side - set out a few mugs, some spoons, sugar/sweetener, small napkins, etc. on the tray. That's all you need. Remove the dog biscuits.

Maybe get a tray that would fit the area and put everything on it. Cups, coffee canister, coffee maker. I found one on Amazon that was black. I had a shelf that was unfinished pine that I painted black for coffee cups and tea pots. I just had a little corner on the counter and it keeps everything in one area.

Add some battery powered puck lights & attach at the bottom of the cabinet to light up the space.

Cabinet doors could be removed and mugs added, baskets, etc

Definitely a tray to hold sugar, creamer, maybe a flavored syrup,. You could put out a few cute coffee cups lined up or attach some command hooks to the top of the cabinet to hang them. Maybe set out a little platter of muffins or scones.

Yes to the suggestion of more lighting under the cabinet. I think it’s possible without rewriting anything.

I have a very simple coffee bar at the end of my counter. I keep sugar and other sweeteners in my antique Pyrex glass containers.
