Sonatini Fire Dancer is showing first flower stem

I was getting ready to figure out how to force my Hippeastrums into dormancy when I noticed that one pot of Fire Dancer has one flower spike starting. These have been in the pots with weak fertilizer every watering under LED double bank 16 on and 8 off since I got them last autumn from Brent and Becky. The blooming bulb is one of three in a 6" pot that had three flower stems a piece last fall. The bulbs have grown and now they have in fact distorted the pot. The blooming bulb has 8 leaves and a pup besides.

Perhaps the Sonatinis should not be dried off? I am so new to this type of plant that a year ago I didn't even know there was such a thing as Sonatini hippeastrums. :-)
