What did you have in mind when you started this renovation? Was there a particular look you were going for, or did you only decide to paint after you changed your counter?

What are the other colors in your house? What’s the flooring?

Floors are hardwood, very close in color to the cabinets...we planned to paint them all along. going for a farmhouse/rustic look. We are thinking of some type of grey/blue maybe? I love the countertops but they are a tricky color to match.

The colors throughout the house are kind of a sage green trim and white/eggshell color on the walls.

Have you considered Leaving the cabinets as-is, they look really nice. Refinish floors with a different stain.

The current wood cabinets look great with the countertop, it’s difficult to suggest a paint color that would look better. You could always do a white (not too stark). A green color might be a good choice. It would go with the trim and the counter.

The sage color from your trim would look fantastic on your cabinets with that countertop.

I would hold off on backsplash until you decide about paint colour....
