Help! Master Bathroom Configuration

It wasn't until we ordered windows for our new custom home that we realized there's a window in our shower, which is in the front of our home. We're actually in a secluded area, but anyone who drives up at night will pass this window. This is simply not something we want to deal with...ever. We are almost done framing, so we need to address this ASAP.

My thought is to move the shower to the opening in front of the walk-in-closet. The shower will then be nicely centered to the standing tub and window. (This window looks out into a wooded area.) We could then move the opening to the walk-in-closet to a) the hallway but DH feels that's a far walk from the shower to get dressed or b) where the area where the shower was originally shown.

Thoughts? If we move the WIC door to the existing shower area, what's the best use of the space under/around the 3 windows? Feels like a lot of dead space to me. Could move the toilet to area w/ window but not enough space per code to build it into a room. Is a toilet room (vs. half-wall) necessary?

Please weigh in!

I would put a fabulous leaded glass window in the shower, but move the master doorway to the end of the hallway and put the access to the WIC right by the door. I would hate to have to walk all the way through the bedroom and bathroom just to grab a sweater or something from my closet. (And I always imagine getting ready for a black-tie event and dragging your ballgown and Manolo Blahnik's across a wet bathroom floor...)

Edit: And I really dislike a toilet behind a door without a sink nearby. The handle just grosses me out.

2nd edit: All the windows in the bathroom and WIC face the front of the house? However you're treating them will work for the shower. Make them all leaded or stained glass?

    Thank you Leslie! Fabulous suggestions.

So when the spouse gets up to go in the middle of the night, you’re ok with hearing the sound of the toilet flushing, since it’s right against your bedroom wall?

Are you ok with one of you using the toilet and then having to walk further into the bathroom just to wash their hands?

Toilet room doors need to open out.

If it were me i’d switch toilet with shower and do what Leslie suggests with master closet

Why not just close up the window?

When you enter the shower, will you be entering directly under the water spray? I don’t care for that, myself.

When you exit the shower, where is your towel?

Can you just swap the toilet and shower? Would require a bit of moving the walls to make shower big enough. It’s nice to have a window in the WC.

IMO a lot of wasted space in that bathroom for no purpose and a lot of extra cleaning. I never like having to walk through the bathroom to get to the closet , I hate toilet rooms they are just plain stupid inside the bathroom , IMO no one should use the toilet unless the bathroom is not occupied .The free standing tub needs a min. of 12” all around it for cleaning and why split vanities where neither has much counter space . As for a window in a shower it depends on the window so unless it is a huge window that allows a view of more than maybe the top of your head why not have the extra natural light . BTW I love my window in my walkin closet.

so with this being a custom home, the shower placement and window wasn't realized during the planning stages, before windows were ordered??

Move the shower to where the toilet is, move the toilet to where the vanity is (the one across from the toilet), and move the vanity that is across from the toilet to where the shower is. And bump out the wall for the shower into the closet just as it is for the current shower. Also, I don't understand the dead end hallway. Why not move the end of the hall over to the rightmost bedroom wall, and enter the bedroom from the end of the hallway? Then you can have a door to the closet from the master bedroom instead of the bathroom.
