Hima, I would hang artwork there. Framed paintings that you love or photos that speak to you would work well. I would only hang one piece per niche, and size them so that they make an impact. Your space is lovely. Well done.

Back to the question: agree about art in there. I don’t know your style preferences to suggest anything more specific. Like Ida, my preference would be just one piece in each space.

I really like the niches — how the framing repeats the look of the molding on the columns. Lovely. :)

Thank you all for the suggestion. I did google and looked at many ideas. some painted the niche a contrast color and added a figurine. I saw a few added paintings. some did murals..I will probably buy an art piece that will almost fit the space! Thank you for the compliment on the design! i love those columns too!
