I’m trying to pick a backsplash for my existing kitchen. The kitchen was remodeled about 4 years ago right before we bought the house. As you can see I have espresso cabinets, black leather granite on the island and a granite that is called White Dallas on the back countertop. It’s colors are black, grays, some taupe on a whiteish background. Of course I’m looking at a white glossy subway 4 x 12 or 3x 12. The previous owner put is a green glass mosaic trying to match the fireplace stacked rock. I’ve always felt it was too busy and the granite has no green or golds in it. I would love some suggestions. I’ve looked at about every shade of white glass I can find. I’m really nervous that it will have that green tint everyone mentions. The kitchen gets pretty good natural light. My husband wants to keep it simple. Our taste is on the contemporary side. Eventually I want to move the fireplace to another wall in the family room but that won’t happen for awhile. I can post more pictures of the connecting room in the morning.
