I would place it against a wall, not in a corner and would put it to the rihht of the window. i wouldn't want it in front of bed because you would constantly be looking at yourself when you are sitting up in the bed or getting up. I wouldnt like that personally

I don't mind the color at all, I would put effort into other things... are you thinking of all neutral room or do you want any color? some art perhaps or some addition layers for bedding?

I love how silvery the art is (or seems to be on my screen). It accentuates the silver in the nightstands. If it were me, I'd get the chandelier and measure from the top or install it to see if the artwork will be visible or not.

The rug would further define the area and add more white and darker gray to the room---which is perfect! I also like how the rug and artwork would look together.

Yes, the art has silver and hints of glitter. Its a beautiful piece! I am not too sure yet as to what kind of chandelier to do yet.

Good decision on the wall color! And I like your lamps and lamp shades. Articles I’ve read consistently say the general guideline is to repeat the shape of the base which is exactly what you have done. I also think the print you chose is lovely with everything else you have.

I wasnt able to find the curtains in the proper length. I’m going to try to look for them at a different Homegoods then I will post pic. However, i did change the drum shade shape. One pic has both to show difference and the other is with both round shades. What do you guys think?? Also, notice the rug I added. Thoughts on that too??

The bed i plan to keep it crisp white unless I can find something silver within my budget.

Is the rug placement appropriate? Maybe more rug space for the footboard?

I think the rug placement looks pretty good, perhaps move it a bit toward the foot of the bed but kinda hard to tell. as for the lamp shade, I was originally thinking the round was small but then I looked at it some more and then thought because of the lamp base size it was OK. if anything maybe the lamps need to be a bit bigger.

as for art, I like the idea of more color but it seemed like you wanted to go very serene and neutral. how about something more textural and dimensional...something like this perhaps

Yes agreed. I think it should be moved a little more forward. Are you familiar with what the rule is for spacing from footboard? Im sort of stuck with these lamps so I am trying to make it work. I think about a 2” bigger shade would be fine.

Wall art I am think something simple because i do plan to hang a chandelier l, that way it doesn’t take too much attention away from the chandelier. This is what I have in mine, but silver toned

gorgeous chandelier. not sure there is a rule on placement of rug in relation footboard, to me its also about space between end of rug and wall. seems like there is extra room to move toward the wall in front of bed. textural art would look fabulous with the chandelier IMO.

just thought i would mention that a faux fur accent pillow in a cream white would look great on your bed, i know you mentioned you want to keep it crisp white, but a little pop of texture could work well with the new chandelier and not take the focus from the chandelier... this with the juju hat art above would look fabulous IMO.

I agree on the pillows. It does need more texture in the bed. For the art i loved the flowers. I was thinking what id i hang wall art on the sides of the nightstand and leave the headboard space above open to focus more on the chandelier in the center part. I found this flower sheets with potentially some black or white frames. What do you think??

Hi everyone! Sorry I’ve out of this post for a while due to holidays and pandemic. Happy new year to everyone!
I am ready to finish this project, haven’t done much. Only removed the corner mirror, and I am not planning on bringing it back for now. I started my master bath decor as well. I am hoping maybe I can get some help in tying it together. I believe accessories and art work will be crucial. Any suggestions?
