Is this crown rot for my Sago Palm?

Hi everyone, I just removed some orange fuzz from top and around the crown of my Sago Palm. Now, photos attached, its yellowish on top and orange going down. Took out some dirt around and some roots are good but others rot. Any advice? The branches look ok, some leaves are yellowing but I m most concerned for the trunk and new growth. Any advice?
