Leave the brick as is. Paint the trim light gray or light tan. Can you remove the muntins in the windows? Remove the grid and yellow from the garage window, Remove the trellises. Paint the garage door to match new trim color. Paint the door glossy black. Then you need to do the LANDSCAPE.

Get a landscape designer to beef up the foundation plantings and the hardscape. Perhaps choose a different color to paint the garage and front door. I'd go with either sage green or black.

I'd also try to separate your yard from the neighbors' with fencing or shrubs.

Landscaping will provide an instant update!!! Then, I'd spend $$ on a new garage door and new front door - without the half moon glass.

Thank you all for the direction! Based on your input, I am going to put my exterior painting budget of the brick into the landscape. A new front door will allow a sightline to the back yard and future pool.

I would suggest a black roof (when the time comes) and taupe trim. Paint out the white centre quoins above the windows and doors. and the round vent. Replace garage doors with wood or paint to match trim. Professional landscaping will add some much needed curves and softer lines. Extend and brighten up front entrance with new door, add lighting and a curved walkway. Paint the lighting fixtures black so they look like wrought iron. Larger lighting fixtures would suit the scale better. Use bright foliage in planters, and a nice welcome mat in the doorway. Cream black red and taupe are classic. Lots of possibilities, but I wouldn’t paint the brick, personally. Hope this is helpful!

This is SO helpful! If I understand correctly, the brick above the windows and door should be painted all the way across to include the center wedge, or did you mean to just freshen up the existing white wedge with the new trim color? I would actually paint them to match the brick (or so they stand out less) so they visually disappear. They distract the eye, call attention to and emphasize the white centre line of the window mullions and draw your eye away from the doorway, which you want to be the focal point. A nice curved walkway would lead your eye directly to the prize, the entranceway. A nice door with good hardware, lighting, perhaps a bench and planters. Pops of bright colour...
