Accent Wall what colour to paint?

I need to add something to this room. Looking for an idea on a paint colour for our fireplace wall.
12ft ceiling. Copper fireplace surround.
. I want to keep the warmth of the room, but was thinking charcoal or dark purplish charcoal but afraid it may give the drapes a more pinkish tone which I already want to tone down. Suggestions welcomed!
