Yeah sadly once a leaf turns brown it won’t turn back green, so I’d cut them off if you don’t like the look of them.

Do you soak the full plant and allow water to drain from the bottom holes in the pot?

Are the top couple of inches dried out before you water (but slightly moist underneath)?

I do wait until the top two inches are dry. and then I water it until starts to drain through the bottom. I use a full water cup (maybe 20 oz?), but I'm nervous to overeater it.

Leave 1mm of the brown when you come to cut off, avoid cutting into the green.

When it next needs a watering, I’d suggest saturating the full plant In the bath or shower with water and leave it to drain for an hour or so. I know it can be a scary process but it means the roots at the bottom of the plant have a chance to soak up some water too. Leave until the top few inches are dry (could be days, could be weeks. Plan the watering based on how the soil feels rather than x amount of times a week) and repeat again.

Browning can be caused by overwatering too but if you let it dry out it’s likely to be under. Is the potting medium it’s in quite loose and free draining?

One of my areca palms went through similar until it was barely a skeleton but this summer put out lots of new growth and looks really full again :)

I think the soil drains pretty well. I can't remember what soil it's in. I'll try giving it a shower lol
