fiberglass vs gunite? pool.

hi. looking for opinions. living in the coast in rhode island. looking for a deep rectangle modern clean look. IF the price was equally. i get they are not. could someone help me understand why to go with one over the other in my area. and if anyone has suggestions for a pool installer they like or do not like pls share. just starting to research. and would like to learn more. thank you.
